Hi! I’m Amy - Your GPS to Your Dreams.
Like you, I’ve had those times when my life just wasn’t working for me anymore - my job, my living situation, who I was spending my time with. I’ve reset my life 5 or 6 times now and in the process have learned how to BOLDLY take on new challenges, and CONFIDENTLY redefine what success means for me.
I am building and living out the life I was day-dreaming about just a few years ago when the days felt uninspiring, unfulfilling, and full of dread. I’m here to help you break out of a life that’s no longer working for you, let go of the fears and habits that are holding you back, and BOLDLY travel the path towards the life of your dreams.
Why I started my business
I’d been thinking of having my own business for over a decade but was scared AF of taking the leap away from a steady paycheck - sound familiar?
As my career progressed and I worked for smaller and smaller companies I experienced firsthand what it really takes to be an entrepreneur and it hit home that I could continue to work my ass off for someone else’s dream or I could take the LEAP, finally break free, and build a life that works 100% for me!!
My mission is to use everything I’ve learned - through my own personal development and formal education & training - to help those feeling confined by doing what’s “normal” or “expected” of them - people feeling like there’s more out there - let go of the fear and limits holding them back and boldly chase after their own dreams.
Authenticity. We’re going to be our real selves and be open and transparent. That’s how we create a safe space to work.
FUN! Just because it’s work doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. Take the work seriously but not ourselves.
Freeeeedom. Create freedom of choice in a way that is meaningful for you.
Creativity & Collaboration. This can be problem-solving with post-its and colourful pens or being open to exploring options or ideas as they arise. Let’s crack open the watercolours of our minds and work together to build your adventure!
Judgement-Free Zone. I won’t pass judgement on you or your ideas and I can help you be less judgemental of yourself.
Evolution. We must evolve or we stagnate, there are always ways to reinvent ourselves and grow and finding them, to me, is like a choose your own adventure of life!
Celebration!! I’m all about the high-kicks and sparkle everywhere when we achieve a mini breakthrough AND when we hit those big, bold goals.

Why Get Shift Done?
I get this question a fair bit so here goes…two reasons:
1) Throughout my corporate career I was the person you’d give the weird and difficult projects to because “Wagg gets sh*t done!”. It’s been my personal brand for a loooong time.
2) On my path to entrepreneurship I had to make some BIG personal development shifts and I know first-hand how great it feels on the other side of that. phew!
So…when it came time to name my business the combo of my personal brand and how I want to help others naturally came together as Get Shift Done. It helps that I love 💕 love wordplay so this is just me in a lot of ways.
It brings me joy; I hope it makes you smile.
